Ekabel participated in the I Congress for Innovation in Energy that took place in Ciudad del Carmen, México (CRIE MACOSHI 2019). On this important activity Ekabel introduced its latest developments: Fost (Fiber Optic Sensing Technology) and Ekafiable, special cabling system that turns stable polymer into ceramic under fire conditions.

Ricardo Ocampo Fernández, Mexico´s Sustainable Energy Secretary attended to the event and learnt about new solutions on the sector.

The Congress had the support and sponsorship of Mexico´s Mecanical Engineers Association and of the Universidad Autónoma del Carmen. Hundreds of students and specialized proffesionals had the chance to discover, first hand, the new technologies that will drive future changes on energy consumption.
